The owner of the online pet store Planetpetsupply.com, Gladys Fischer has transformed her love for pets into a business selling merchandise like toys, clothes, and accessories. A former paralegal, Gladys Fischer runs her business while also working as an account assistant at Industrias Quimicas Fischer, a laundry bar soap manufacturer based in Cochabamba, Bolivia. The soap company is owned by her grandfather.

Ms. Fischer's work at the family-owned factory involves overseeing reports related to raw materials and finished products, as well as monitoring the registries. Her father, Reene Fernando Fischer, is the production manager and oversees manufacturing operations.

In her free time, Gladys Fischer enjoys practicing yoga (particularly Kundalini and Vinyasa), reading, and cooking healthy meals. She also sometimes occasionally does Spanish translation work. On a future trip to Bolivia, she plans to volunteer at Bolivia Digna, an organization focused on promoting the rights of infants, children, adolescents, and vulnerable social groups. She will support the group by providing healthy meals and clean drinking water and teaching children hygiene habits.
